My family vacations on the Bohemia River in Maryland. How can we swim there, and to prevent water snakes?
We usually take the vessel out into deeper water and go swimming, tubing or wakeboarding, and have never seen any snakes in there. But recently near the coast, We've seen a few black snakes, and even the copperhead.
Just look around and then all of the water snake cannot bite under water, and if you get one of them is likely to float away, then go after fold.
